Using A Conference Call Consultant

In this day and age where conference call companies are a dime a dozen, it can be a difficult and time-consuming process to try and choose between all of the available conference call options. If time is a luxury you dont have, maybe your company should consider employing the services of a conference call consultant. Conference consulting is actually a newer service created out of the need many companies have expressed at not having the time to research conferencing service providers. Chances are a company is choosing to use conferencing services because they are looking to save time and money. Using a consultant means that you dont have to make this decision without the help of an experienced individual.

A conference call consultant is responsible for find you the best company to meet your needs. In order to do this, the consulting agent will obtain some basic information about your companys needs. Information such as, what is the estimated number of people that will be attending a conference? How many times will conferences be held in a specified period of time? Will your company be using audio only services? What about video and web conferencing? What is the preferred method of calling? This and several other questions will be used to determine what types of services will best suit your companies needs. At that point the conference call consultant will check to see if there is any additional hardware or software your company will need in order to use the preferred method of conferencing.

Next a consultant will do the research needed to determine which conferencing provider will best suit your needs. Checking directories, contacting companies directly for quote comparison and verifying the information in a flat rate plan. The consulting agent can is also more likely to spot calling plans that claim to be able to do more then they are actually able to. This is important so that no time or money is wasted on services you cant use. When you sit down and analyze all of the time it takes to make a good choice in a conference call provider, a conference call consultant just seems like a smart choice.

Thinking Positively

Thinking positively allows you to channel positive energy within you. Positive thoughts help to promote positive attitude and elevate your mood.

By being negative, we focus that energy to the point where it's hard to correct situations or even to be motivated. And it also brings you down and makes you angry. What's the point of feeling like this?

We Control Our Thoughts

We are generally in complete control of our thoughts. We have conversations with ourselves. Some people mumble out aloud, while others have it silently in their heads.

When you have fears, phobias, panic attacks, anxiety disorders and other mental issues, it is incredibly important to maintain a positive attitude and to think positively.

It's very easy to take the opposite route. That's natural. Anxiety issues can really bring you down, and just when you think things can't get any worse, they do! That's why it's important to train mental strength.

It won't happen overnight. Just like most things, it requires work. For example, if you get a negative thought, stop it dead in its tracks and replace it with a positive one.

It can also show in your appearance. Positive thinking can make you look like you're beaming! It shows, and people can notice it, just like when people can tell if you're fuming!

Be Positive And Overcome Hardship

By thinking positively, you're in a much better position to deal with adversity. If the chips are down, you're likely to overcome it quicker. Less energy is spent on postponing something that requires action.

The best site I know of that helps with positive thinking and personal development is called ThinkRightNow. It certainly made a huge difference to me and I'm sure it will for you as well.

They have excellent programs for panic disorder, social phobia, depression and many more for other areas in life. I would highly recommend using these programs because it's power certainly helped me.

Sometimes in life, we need to use certain tools to help us achieve our goals. It's not easy dealing with mental issues, but having a positive attitude will give you the strength and determination to see you through.

If you'd like to learn more about what ThinkRightNow can do for you to change your life, please check the resource provided. If it works for you, spread the word to anyone you feel needs a little help.

Stop Global Warming - Block Sun with Millions of Flying Cars!

Many of the Science Magazines are talking about crazy ways to stop Global Warming. Some of the ideas put forth are absolutely insane and others plausibly deniable. One member at the "Offline EU Think Tank" suggested that we put forth additional R and D monies to bring about "flying cars" a couple of decades early and since the traffic is so insane in our cities, where the urban heat islands are, the flying cars will provide shade to the hot concrete and asphalt below?

It has been reasoned that flying cars will have slightly more surface area to keep them aloft and if these cars are paint in the latest new pastel colors such as the Lexus LS 400 "Desert Mahogany" [also know as light tan color] or the Mercedes 580 SL "Lake Louise Pearl" [white]; then these cars will prevent urban heat problem. This means the atmosphere directly over our major cities will not heat up, causing super storms or heating the planet.

Since the American Auto Manufacturers are losing sale to the foreign companies like Volkswagon, BMX, Toyota and Honda; the US Auto Makers will not have to worry about re-tooling or selling more efficient flying cars, allowing them to appease unions and maintain higher profit margins. They will still be able to sell cars to anyone who is afraid to fly into the future.

"In the Middle East they might design carbon nano-tube flying carpets to help shade their cities and anyone with a hot head." Said another member of the French based Offline EU Think Tank, who is also a member of the A380 design team, who has also been busy consulting with French Automakers to replace all the cars that were torched during the riots in France last year. They are staying very busy indeed. Sincerely, Lance.

Football Juggling Tricks

Football juggling tricks...the official name of today for this is called "Football Freestyle". Freestyle is all about skills while having the ball in the air. People have always been fascinated about juggling skills. In the 90's some people took this to a higher level. Juggling with all parts of your body, juggling while sitting and even when you're lying down.

When of the pioneers of this "circus" style was Mr.Woo. A very famous freestyler who used to play professional football. He wanted to take juggling skills to a new level. Mr.Woo could do things with a football no one else could do. He worked with many professional football players making commercials. He also worked with many big companies, not only football related companies. Freestyle attracts attention so people wanted to see more and more.

In the beginning of the 21st century there was a new era of freestyle born, it was later to be called "the air moves era". People started to do tricks with their feet spinning around the ball. One of the first air freestylers out there was Soufiane Touzani. This guy released a freestyle video back in the days which got a lot of people in to freestyle.

Palle, a guy from Sweden took freestyle to another level around 2005. His skills belong to the air moves section but he started to do no touch tricks. No touch tricks basically is when you do one trick and then you go straight in to another trick without a touch in between. This was something that had not been seen before and it got very popular. This variation of air moves is very hard but some people master the art of no touch tricks.

This is pretty much were freestyle is 2007. Sometime soon there might come new people who will break the boundary's of freestyle and create a new era of freestyling. Only the future can tell!

RV Rentals FAQ

The demand for RVs is booming and people are increasingly renting out RVs as a major source of recreational vacation and travel. In fact, there are recreation outlets across the country that rent motorhomes, folding camping trailers and other vehicles, giving non-owners the opportunity and flexibility to enjoy the excitement and freedom of an RV vacation.

What are the reasons for people to rent an RV?

The primary reason for people renting an RV is vacation travelling, more so for those who think that the journey is as or perhaps more important than the destination. You have the flexibility to make your own travel schedule and you can travel in as much comfort as you want.

Another reason for RV renting is affordability. It is cheaper and more comfortable for families to hire an RV while vacationing. Even in peak holiday season or when gas prices are high, RV trips remain the most economical type of vacation.

Even if saving money is less important to you, vacationing in a motorhome, travel trailer or fifth wheel, is a comfortable, convenient, stress-free way to travel, enjoy the great outdoors and spend quality time with your family.

If you are intrigued by RV traveling and wish to explore the experience before actually buying one, RV rentals are a great opportunity to do so. Rentals also give you the opportunity to try and test various types of RVs to enable you to decide which ones best for you.

RV rentals are convenient for people who enjoy the experience but do not want the hassle of ownership.

Motorhomes, are a comfortable means of travel as even the smallest motorhome is much roomier than a car. If you have young children an RV can make travel more enjoyable. It is convenient to have snacks and cold drinks in your refrigerator. You also have your own clean restroom handy anytime you need it.

Rent an RV for on-site hospitality at special events like automobile races and other recrational events.

What are the basic tips to rent an RV?

Rentals agencies require the people renting an RV to have a valid drivers license and proof of age. While some companies require the person driving to be at least 25 years old, others charge extra for someone younger.

What do rental agencies charge for renting an RV?

Rental costs are dependent on the size, type and age of the RV. The rents may fluctuate depending on the season and the duration of period you want it for. Motrohomes rnage from $100 to $250 per day while truck campers and travel trailers average $50 to $120 per day.

What are the other charges besides the rental fee?

Some RV rental companies include insurance in the rental prices. Over and above the daily allowance, there is a certain charge for mileage. There is generator fee of around $3 per hour.

What housekeeping packages for RV rental companies offer?

Most RV rental agencies provide housekeeping packages like dishes, pots, pans at nominal fees. While most dealers require you to bring your own bed linens some will rent these as well. A 'Personal Kit' would include a sleeping bag or blanket, pillow, pillowcase, flat sheet, bath towel, washcloth and dishtowel. Approximate cost is $35 per person, for the duration of the trip. All items must be returned at end of the trip.

Is there any deposit against damages incurred?

When you rent an RV, you will be required to make a deposit against damages if they occur, which is usually in the range of $500. It will be refunded if you return the RV in good condition.

Lymphoid Malignant Tumours - Discovered Of A New Therapeutic Strategy

The preclinic studies in a model in vivo show that the activation of the calcineurine is crucial for the maintenance of the tumoral activity several lymphomas and LAL. The cyclosporine and the FK506 cause the death of the tumoral cells indeed. A clinical trial should quickly begin at the Institute Curie to evaluate the potential of this new therapeutic strategy, and in particular of the FK506, for the treatment of the lymphomas. The lymphomas are tumours of the peripheral lymphoid system which ensures the defense of the organization against the pathogenic agents. They generally develop in the lymphatic ganglia.

One classifies them in two main categories according to the implied cells and the capacity of evolution of the tumour. One thus distinguishes the lymphomas not hodgkiniens which touch nearly 9.000 people in France and belong to cancers of which the frequency increased the most these last years, and the lymphomas of Hodgkin, rarer with 1.300 cases and whose incidence does not evolve/move. If the disease of Hodgkin touches especially young adults, the other lymphomas relate to older subjects.

The lymphomas generally develop starting from the lymphocytes B (1) and in some rarer cases of the lymphocytes T. They are characterized by the malignant proliferation of lymphoid cells which tend to infiltrate all the organization. The lymphocytes accumulate because of their incapacity with autodetruire by apoptose (2), invade the ganglia, spleen then gradually osseous marrow and blood. As osseous marrow is the seat of the hematopoese (3) adult, this invasion involves a modularly insufficiency. This phenomenon then causes an increasingly weak production of red globules which causes an anaemia, a fall of the immunity involving of the serious infections and a reduction of the plates, at the origin of haemorrhages. The most widespread shapes of cancers in the children until adolescence, also being able to occur in the adults, acute leukaemias lymphoid T (LAL-T) are characterized, as for them, by an uncontrolled proliferation of immature cells T which invade osseous marrow, blood and the central nervous system with the detriment of the normal cells.

The calcineurine to repair the lymphocytesThe team Oncognes and hematopoietic differentiation of the UMR 146 CNRS/Institute Curie, directed by Jacques Ghysdael study the various forms of leukemia and the cellular mechanisms leading to their development. It has just shown that the calcineurine is activated in a durable way in the lymphocytes B and T tumoral of the various lymphomas and lymphoid acute leukaemias.

This protein phosphates plays an important part in the normal development of the lymphocytes B and T and also takes part in the activation of these cells during the immunizing answer. The calcineurine, once activated, starts the proliferation of the lymphocytes T via the production of a lymphocytary growth promoter, the interleukine 2. However, the activity of the calcineurine is inhibited by the cyclosporine and FK506, two immunosuppresseurs used in private clinic to prevent the rejection of Clerc's Offices of bodies.

While using models in vivo carrying lymphomas or LAL, researchers CNRS of Institut Curie come to show that the inhibition of the calcineurine by cyclosporine A or the FK506 results in death by apoptose lymphoid cells and a tumoral regression. The calcineurine is thus essential with the maintenance of the tumoral characteristics of the lymphocytes T or B in the lymphomas and LAL, which makes a new therapeutic target of it. These two molecules being already used in private clinic, of the tests therapeutic should quickly start, first of all with the FK506, in order to evaluate their potential on lymphomas not hodgkiniens and lymphomas hodgkiniens. Intermediate results of tolerance and effectiveness are awaited as of the next year.

Ballet Dance Wear

Most can agree that ballet is a beautiful variety of dance, but it is also a delicate art form. The performers are often times telling a story with their movement, and the costumes, or clothing they wear play an integral part in the unfolding of the story. During practice, the ballet dance wear is usually less delicate and more practical, however, during recitals, and performances, dancers can go on stage in anything from an all black body suit, to very complicated skirts, tops, and leggings! The type of dance known as En Pointe, is unique to ballet and has very specific shoes that resemble classic ballet slippers until you see the toe. There it is flattened and very sturdy so that a dancer can stand literally on their tip toes. Dance wear has certainly come a long way and there are several varieties offered to fit any needs.

Rehearsal or practice for ballet doesn't usually require full on costuming unless it is a dress rehearsal. Common attire for dancers in class is for girls; a leotard, tights, and your slippers. For guys it can be the same with the addition of shorts as well. Leotards are a one piece body suit that can resemble a bathing suit with or without sleeves. Students attending standard or beginner ballet class will also wear their ballet slippers to dance in. However, En Pointe classes require a dancer to own and wear point shoes. It takes a lot of practice and breaking in to get used to point shoes. Performers often will go through a period of time where their toes are extremely blistered and sore from learning to dance on point.

When it comes to recitals and performances the possibilities are endless and it truly depends on the story being told. It's common to see a flowing or exaggerated skirt on women because it helps to signify their feminine qualities, and can often give the illusion of flying. Costuming is important because ballet is a very movement oriented dance, and the clothing has to be conducive to running, jumping, and it just needs to be flexible.

The vast array of ballet dance wear is available all over the world and on the internet. Whether it's for a performance, practice, or class, there is no doubt when it comes to the shoes that they need to be of quality. Ballet shoes are one of the single most important elements to one's wardrobe. If the shoes are poor quality, then there is a good chance for the dancer to injure themselves or someone else.

Long Term Care Insurance, Guaranteed Premiums and Other Misconceptions

Most people who buy LTC insurance are not aware about future premium increases. LTC insurance premiums are not guaranteed and may increase with permission from state departments of insurance.
The obvious question is have they and will the in the future increase premiums? The answer is yes, they have and many will also increase premiums. Insurance companies can raise rates but only for everyone in the same pool of insured. The company cannot target individual policyholders for special rate increases despite the number of claims someone may make.

    Other misconceptions about LTC Insurance:

Medicare will cover all long term care costs. Not true, Medicare provides very limited options for only 100 days and only after a qualified hospital stay. Medicaid covers long term stays in nursing homes and is considered welfare.

Medicaid will cover all long term care costs and protect my assets is also a false statement. Medicaid will only assist those who have no other financial option.

The earlier you buy LTC insurance the cheaper it is! This is a true statement, but only because the premium is based on age and the younger you buy, the less the premium. However, LTC insurance can increase if approved by the state department of insurance.

Veterans can use the veterans Administration for their LTC needs. The Veterans Administration does assist many veterans but the waiting period for assistance can be years and still doesnt guarantee a bed.

My family will care for me is also an old concept not practical in todays society. In many households both spouses need to work to support the family and not often are their assets in place to care for a parent.

Are there options to help me decide which policy to buy? The answer is yes, numerous sources exist and many agencies will help. A solid tip is to ask for the insurance companys financial rating. The rating service will evaluate the company as to their claims paying ability and their ability to continue into the future. Many times the lowest premium is not the best, always ask for several options form your agent and never feel rushed into a decision. Take your time and make a logical choice based on your personal situation.

Air Compressor Tyre

Many people are already finding that using the air compressor tyre feature on portable and handheld air compressors are the absolute way to go if they are ever needing the air compressor tyre function of a portably air compressor. The tyre function on one of these small compressors should be able to inflate all four automobile tyres without losing strength. Of course, using the air compressor tyre feature will more than likely take more than ten minutes at a time, but it certainly beats out actually purchasing a new tyre. In this way, the air compressor tyre function on one of the small mini air compressors will not only save money, but using one will also save the time and hassle of having to do without air for a little bit.

However, aside from automobile tyres, the air compressor tyre feature is also able to quickly and efficiently inflate bicycle tyres as well. Even though the process will not take as long for the air compressor tyre function for bicycles, the function of the compressor is still the same. In fact, millions of people already use portable and mini air compressors on a regular basis. In order to use the air compressor tyre function of one of these small compressor devices, all that usually has to be done is to flip a switch to turn the air compressor on and off. When the compressor is in the "on" function then the air compressor tyre function will be able to be used.

Although using the air compressor tyre feature is probably the most widely used purpose for portably air compressors, there are a multitude of other purposes for which these compressors are used. For example, many people use air compressors to inflate their air mattresses while camping, inflatable footballs so that they'll be able to play football outdoors, as well as inflate rafts so that they'll be able to float down the river. However you use the air compressors, though, one thing is for sure: the air compressing device is definitely an efficient, time saving piece of equipment that is not only able to be used while inflating tyres, but also is a great help for thousands of other reasons!

Pack Away the Summer and Fall Into the Next Season

Although the truly hectic part of fall doesnt really start until the end of October for most people, you dont want to be tripping over summer over the next couple of months. So, take this time to store, put away or organize your summer items and clothing, souvenirs, photos, etc. Its also a good time to shift some of your habits and those of your family from vacation mode to normal mode.

Summer Items and Clothing

Once the summer is over, is it really necessary to keep the beach towels, inflatable rafts, and water slides out? If you are one of those people who live where the weather and lifestyle accommodates these things year-round, then this section does not apply to you. For the rest of us, who have distinct seasons, we really need to clean up and pack away these things until next year. The same goes for summer clothing. Ask yourself before storing it if you intend to wear the clothes next year. Also, check to see if the childrens things will even fit them by the time next summer comes around. If not, why take up the storage space? Donate it or get rid of it now.

Souvenirs and Photos

People often come back from summer holidays with mementoes of their days away. Who wants to deal with undeveloped rolls of film, jars filled with beach sand and shells, and numerous brochures, ticket stubs and receipts from summers attractions in October? Dont put it off.

Back to Normal

During the summer, many of us tend to get lazy on a variety of fronts. Chanting the mantra Im on VACATION!, we eat less healthy, we stay up later and sleep in later, we put off chores, we dress more casually, we exercise less (except for kids who probably exercise more!), and we spend much more time on entertainment (DVD rentals, movies, video games, shopping, Internet, etc.) than we normally do.

While some of these things may translate into our everyday lives without any visible problem, many of these habits are not healthy ones to carry over into the fall. In fact, several of the ones Ive mentioned have a horrible circular effect. We eat less healthy foods so we have less energy. So, we dont exercise as much and we watch more TV. Because of the sugar and caffeine, we end up staying up later and have trouble getting up in the morning. We feel sluggish, slow and not up to par during the day, so we consume more caffeine and sugar and put off doing more of what needs to be done and so on.

Its a dangerous cycle to get into. The next thing you know, your home is a total wreck and you have become a couch potato with little to no desire to do anything and experiencing little joy in the process. Its perfectly OK to take a vacation. The key is not to take it to excess.

Prepare to fall into the next season

Even as you are packing away the summer, its a great time to start prepping what youll need for fall. You dont want to get caught off guard by the first bad storm of the season or the first really cool day. Start making arrangements now to turn off the air conditioning and turn on the furnace or heater. Make sure that your car is ready for autumn. Things like windshield wipers may have dried out with the summer heat and may crumble during the first downpour leaving you struggling to see out of your front windshield. Begin unpacking, airing out and cleaning your fall clothing items and linens, checking at the same time to see if any are obsolete or unusable. Just doing some of these things ahead of time can save you a lot of scrambling later, allowing you the time instead to fully enjoy the season.

Snowboard Snowboarding: What Stance Should You Use?

If you are considering snowboard snowboarding you will need to determine which stance you intend to use. This refers to how you actually stand on the snowboard. This is important because it will also determine how you mount the bindings on the board.

Regular or Goofy?

One option for your stance in snowboard snowboarding is to ride with your left foot forward. This is known as a regular stance. Another option as known as goofy and this stance has the right foot forward. Many people have an almost built-in preference that is much like being either right handed or left handed.

If you have experience in the past surfing, waterskiing or skateboarding you may already know what your preference is. Be aware; however, that this preference can switch from one sport to the next. Some professional snowboarders prefer to ride one way on their snowboards and actually skateboard with a different stance.

Some people may not know whether they prefer a particular stance until they have tried both ways. If you dont want to give it a try on the side of a mountain there are a few other ways you can determine which stance is best for you while snowboard snowboarding.

Trial & Error

One way would be to slide down the hall or across the kitchen floor in your socks. When you come to a stop look to see which foot goes in first. Another way to determine which foot should be your front foot is to try biking downhill and stand up on the pedals. Look to see which put you automatically put in front.

After you have determined which stance you want to use you should give some thought to how wide you should set your stance. Ideally, the width of your stance should be slightly wider than shoulder-width. It should be balanced, stable and comfortable. For most people this will fall somewhere between 18 and 24.

Getting your Angle

When snowboard snowboarding you will also need to find the right angle of your foot in relation to the board. Once again there is some room for personal preference here but riding style can also impact the right angle for you. If you are riding freestyle or free ride, the front binding should fall between 10 and 30 degrees. The rear binding should be angled somewhere between -15 and +10 degrees. The exact angle should be whatever is comfortable for you.

Try to avoid the temptation to compare your stance to someone elses No two stances are alike. Your stance should be unique and what is comfortable for you. Over time, as you gain experience snowboard snowboarding your stance will also likely evolve and change. Your style of riding may also impact your choice of stance from time to time.

Hot Business Trends - Obesity

Food is big business currently. The shocking rise in the number of obese adults and children is great for the food industry. They love it when we eat more.

People who have a Body Mass Index (BMI) equal to or greater than 30 are classified as obese. BMI is calculated by dividing your weight in kilograms by your height in metres squared. It's fairly easy to assess the BMI in adults but slightly trickier in children as you also then have to take age into account.

Around 25 percent of all adults and 20 percent of 15 years old in the US are now obese. The overall trend is set to rise even further in the next decade.

These figures have created a mini boom for low calorie healthy food alternatives. The food industry main aims are to ply us with cheap, unhealthy, high fat food and then market more expensive low calorie alternatives! You can now even buy pet food for overweight cats and dogs.

Vending machines selling high calorie fizzy drinks are springing up everywhere whilst chip shops and fast food takeaways are raking in the profits supplying cheap and nasty food quickly. Some children would like to eat healthily but temptation is everywhere.

Banning unhealthy foods in schools is unlikely to work unless you also stop the children leaving schools for their lunch! Most schools have within walking distance shops and fast food outlets that have seen their trade increase as children shun the move towards healthier meals in schools.

The race has begun to find a miracle pill that would stop us eating too much and help us to switch our hunger off. Many pharmaceutical companies claim that they are now close to finding a safe drug that helps us to burn more calories and stop the body from storing fat.

Does genetics have a part to play? Can you imagine if a company found fat genes that they could then patent and remove from babies in the womb? Big business indeed!

Sales of drugs to counteract the side effects of obesity (like diabetes) are also exploding. Overweight people struggle with a lot of weight related illnesses and the pharmaceutical giants have a pill for almost all know side effects of obesity!

The impact of obesity on small business owners is significant due to lost productivity and higher rates of absenteeism. How business deals with obesity is going to be very interesting in the years to come.

Businesses that can market products and services to this expanding market place will do well. Entrepreneurs who can find ways to make the lives of obese people easier and more fun rather than just trying to get them to lose weight will enjoy the fruits of their labour.

The Fireplace and Home Decor

This article will provide some useful advice on the fireplace and home decor. Before designing the fireplace, the decor of the room where it is to be placed should be considered. This ensures that the style fit in harmoniously with the overall look. All color, materials and shapes must be totally integrated into the whole. It is advisable to ensure good visibility for the flames in order to fully enjoy the light and heat of the fire. Lastly the placement of the fireplace with respect to the surrounding elements and the distribution of the furniture around it must also be taken into account. Key focus is on the seating.

If the room is designed solely for the use of the fireplace, the placement of the furniture is simple, as the fireplace takes center stage. A single functional area around the fireplace is the key to this type of distribution. On the other hand, if the fireplace is part of a room thats divided into several areas, a balance needs to be struck so that the fireplace is the focal point when the fire is lit but merges into the setting when not in use.

In this case, the placement of the furniture is multidirectional, even though this may cause interference between the different functional areas. The aim here is that the field of vision from the seating is diversified when the fire is not lit and goes beyond the simple dark hollow of the hearth. So, the seating serves primarily as functional living room furniture, and only secondarily as vantage points for contemplating the fireplace. In both cases, however, it is advisable to make the visibility of the flames and the warmth as similar as possible for all the seating. The furnishing around a fireplace can be characterized by a radial, transversal or frontal distribution.

Bear in mind that when the fireplace is not in use for extended period of time e.g. summer, it can become a sterile void. By adding decorative elements, it can be transformed into an interesting space. Some suggestions of decorative elements are plants, candles, stones or unusually shaped logs. All these make good substitutes for the focus of attention provided by a blazing fire.

Savoring The Pleasures Of Rome, The Eternal City

Rome is also known as the Eternal City and with very good reason, for this city has a history that is almost as old as civilization itself. This is the seat of the great Empire which once stretched from Scotland to the Nile and many of the historical buildings and massive structures the Romans were so fond of can still be experienced to this very day. There is so much to see in Rome that you could easily take a year just to view the highlights, although a considerable number of the more world-renowned and astonishing attractions are located at very short distances from each other, making discovering the wonders of Ancient and Modern Rome fairly easy and trouble free. The Trajan's Forum, Roma Antica, the Palazzo Venezia and the Coliseum can all be enjoyed within a fifteen minute walk, and what an amazing walk it is!

One of the most famous and iconic views of Rome has to be the Vatican, which is an independent state within a city. In this awe inspiring location, tourists can explore the remarkable promenade of Via Della Conciliazione that leads to St. Peter's Square and the Basilica which is perhaps the most distinguished and beautiful church in the world. The Vatican Museums can be found nearby in the Medici Apartments and there visitors can view the largest and most varied collection of jewelry, treasures and art in the world. There is so much greatness there that after a while it all begins to blur together and all the jewel and diamond encrusted two foot tall crowns begin to lose their distinctiveness. It is only when you realize that any one of these artistic and craftsman masterpieces could sell for hundreds of millions of dollars that you begin to snap out of your haze.

If your idea of a great buy is something that you can take home for a few Euros and not hundreds of millions, you can go seek your own treasures to take home at the huge flea market of Porta Portese, a collection of fine antiques, superb vintage furniture, marvelous curiosities and sheer ripoffs which has well outgrown its original site and now has spread to encompass several surrounding streets and piazzas.

With nightfall the City on Seven Hills takes on a very special nocturnal vigor and the activities to be enjoyed expand into the Roman night. These night time pleasures include visiting the many bars and cafes of Via Veneto, joining other fun seekers enjoying the pleasant evenings at the Piazza Di Spagna (Spanish Steps) or even adding your coin and wish to the many others that have been tossed into the Trevi Fountain. Rome at night may be even more activity-filled than in the day, since you can experience seeing the masterful works of art of Michelangelo, going for a passeggiata around Piazza Navona, stopping by a gelato shop for a lemon granita or an icy zabaglione gelato, or sipping an espresso at the Pantheon, all in the middle of the night!

No trip to the Eternal City would be complete without joining the bohemians at a thousand different small and romantic wine bars and trattories in the vicinity of Trastevere to drink hearty red wine, dig into savory Roman specialties such as Ossobuco (veal shank) or Trippa (tripe) Alla Romana, and sing traditional Roman songs until dawn. Rome truly is the Eternal City of fun and pleasure.

Laws for Blogs

A Blog is short for Web Log and has become a new and exciting form of communication. It is like a diary or a journal personal or corporate that is posted on the Internet for public viewing and updated from time to time. It enables people to publish comments, ideas and opinions for others to read. Besides being a personal from of expression, corporate blogs offer a platform for marketing new ideas, communication channels between management and employees, discussion of industry and media trends, news coverage and even political expressions. We also have law blogs, school blogs and marketing blogs.

Although blogs have now assumed importance a being a part of the contemporary social and corporate lifestyle, like all other forms of published expressions, blogs can be harmful. As blogs gain popularity as marketing tools, lawyers say companies have to consider the legal issues associated with them. Just like printed published materials, blogs have raised many challenging issues and are open to copyright infringement, defamation suits and privacy issues. This has necessitated companies to be aware of the legal phenomenon involved and establish ground rules to avoid lawsuits and other legal troubles.

However, law on blogs and laws on blogging still remain a gray area and there is little legal precedent for a company planning a blog site. It is only in the very recent past that courts across the country have started addressing this issue and applying the current framework of law to blogs. Courts may soon decide whether bloggers are immune from defamation suits under the Communications Decency Act. Although, slow in coming, blogs are not entirely without legal frontiers and are slowly getting conversant with the blogging problems. In the meantime blogs are multiplying and changing the way people communicate. Until the law is clarified, bloggers should know they are potentially liable for any false and defamatory speech they post online.

The first concern that comes to mind is that of libel and whether the company will run into legal problems if they start blogging. By virtue of blogging being easy to publish and correct, it is also easy for a blogger to fix the information that may be damaging or false. If you are quick enough to correct the mistake in your blog, libel, typically will not be a problem.

Although, it is not necessary for a lawyer to review every blog, some precautions wont hurt. Run it past by a lawyer, add appropriate disclaimers and ensure that your bloggers are reliable. Another thing that you can do to avoid unnecessary claims is to have a policy for your own company blog and one for how you deal with employees who have their own.

Given the fact that a blog contains text, images, hyperlinks and even music or video files one must be aware of the intellectual property matters applicable to blogs. Issues include ownership of content, person liable for infringing material, trademark issues as well as the potential disclosure of trade secrets by employees or third parties.

Typically, the person creating the content and posting it to the blog will own the copyright. In the case of a company, it owns the content posted by an employee and has the right to redistribute or reuse it for other purposes. The company may also acquire the copyright for the content.

If the infringing content is posted to a corporate blog that is operated by an employee then both, the business and the person posting the content could be held liable. However if the content is on a personal blog, the risk to the company is minimal.

Just as with other publish material, the title of the blog may be in question if it copied form another trademark. Additionally, the use of the company's trademarks or the trademarks of other companies in blog posts could also give rise to liability. It would be better for the person initiating the blog to clear the trademark issues beforehand so as not to cause infringement problems.

Confidential issues and trade policies should be strictly kept off blogs. Employees should be warned of public disclosure of sensitive information as well as made aware of intellectual property rights. Posting of such information may create liability issues and strict policies regarding these should be laid down from the beginning.

When advising clients, lawyers should emphasize the use of common sense and the application of existing legal rules and corporate policies to business and employee blogs. This strategy should go a long way toward protecting the business that ventures into this new medium.

25 Killer Ways to Pump Up Your Product Pages

Constantly I'm stunned at how many well-known e-commerce sites have very deficient product
pages. Many large companies, especially click and mortar retailers, seem
to forget that products cannot be touched, tasted, or tested over the internet.
While the internet will never perfectly simulate the in store experience, there
are dozens of tactics that can be implemented on the product page to increase
customer engagement and convert visitors into buyers. Below I'll describe 25
tactics I've either used or seen used by other internet retailers.

Better Product Pictures:

It's important to remember that unlike you, your customers may have never seen nor handled your products before. Therefore, take pictures of every possible angle a customer
would want to see. Also, make sure the quality is acceptable. If you're still
using a 1 megapixel camera you got for Christmas 10 years ago, it's about time
to upgrade.

Flash Zoom w/ Different Angles:

Many advanced e-commerce customers have implemented flash technology to allow zooming and changing angles. If you have the expertise and the resources, this is a killer
add on feature for any product page.

Info about Where the Product was Manufactured:

People care immensely about this. Whether they are concerned about ethical working
conditions, or just for quality reasons, be sure to tell them where your
products are made. If they are made somewhere besides the US, be sure to put a
link to your fair labor policy, so your customers don't think you're using
sweatshops.

List benefits not features:

Don't rattle of an endless bullet list of technical specifications. Tell customers specifically
how this product will improve their life.

Show product measurements and weight:

Remember, they can't actually touch and hold your product over the internet. Give them the
next best thing with the measurements and weight.

Make "Buy Now" Impossible to miss:

The "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now" button should reach out and grab your attention. Avoid the tiny, vague "Add to Bag" buttons that are used by many online stores.

Customer generated product reviews:

This will both increase the amount of trust your website receives and add valuable content
for the search engines. Worried about negative product reviews? Don't, the
experts say it can be one of the greatest tools to show your customers you are
transparent and trustworthy.

Ask a Question Button:

Don't leave your customers hanging with nagging questions about a products. Add a link that emails your customer service department so customers can ask a specific
question about the product. This also serves as a great feedback tool so you
know what information needs to be put on the product page to prevent
questions. For an example of this, checkout the product pages of C28's

Witness wear
.

Show Related Cross sell items:

Having a "customer who bought this also liked..." section is a great way to cross sell. Remember, a product page can be a dead end if the customer is not interested in what
they are viewing. Always give them somewhere else to go.

Show Related Up sell Products:

Add to your average order by suggesting an upgrade to what they are currently viewing.

Show add on items:

Selling shoes? Don't let your customers checkout without socks! Customers will
appreciate the suggestion, and you will increase your average order.

Include possible search query terms in the title tags:

If you sell moisturizer cream, don't just put the product name in the title tag. Create an
extra field in your product database that people will likely search for such
as "Cure for Dry skin."

Currency converter:

Have you ever been to a site that showed currency in something other than US dollars? I have, and I usually leave because I am too lazy to convert it. Including a currency
converter link near the price will help encourage your international business. If you don't want to clutter up your product page, you can even program the link to only show if the user has a non-US IP address.

Add a Wish list:

Wish list's are a great way to create stickiness and possibly even reduce shopping
cart abandonment. People tend to use shopping carts as wish lists, so giving
them to real thing will allow you to more accurately track your true shopping
cart abandonment.

Email Me When It's Re-stocked Button:

Many sites, especially apparel retailers, may sell out of a certain size or variety of a
product. Rather than throwing up a "Out of Stock" notice on the product page,
why not allow people to be emailed when the item is re-stocked? In my
experience, this is one of those features that really surprises and delights
customers who are otherwise already frustrated. Checkout an example of this on
the product pages of C28's
Faith wear and t-shirts.

Email Me Before It Sells Out Button:

People tend to wait to the last minute. But what if you warned them before the item sells
out? There's no greater way to create a sense of urgency then by sending an
email saying "Hurry, it's about to sell out!"

Email Me When Products Like this are Added:

Customers are tired of generic, one size fits all email newsletters. Give them something
they really care about by creating a system where they can request to be
notified when product within certain categories are added to the site.

Social Book marking Links:

Although its not typical to see a Digg or Delicious button on an e-commerce site, it may work well for certain buzz worthy products.

Bread crumb navigation:

It's easy to get lost in a myriad of product categories, so always keep visitors informed about where they are with Bread (aka Cookie) crumb navigation. Bread crumb navs
typically are located in the upper left hand of the page and look something
like this: Home > Top Category > Lower Category > Product Name

Customer Submitted Photos:

Allow your customers to upload pictures of them using your products. This works great for
apparel retailers, or anything where people take pride in using a product.

Customer Audio Testimonials:

This is becoming common as sales pages for eBooks or other informational products. A
testimonial that can be listened to will probably hold more weight than simple
text on a page.

Customer Video Testimonials:

Even better than just audio, allow for full video testimonials. If you have the videos hosted
by YouTube, you can also spur a viral marketing campaign.

Back Button to Product Category:

This allows customers to navigate more efficiently and return to where they just were.

Browser Bookmark Button:

Don't let them forget your site. With a simple JavaScript command, you can trigger their
browser to bookmark your product.

RSS Product Feed:

With the integration of a feed reader into Microsoft's IE 7, Rss feeds will likely
move out of the early adopter stage and become more mainstream. With the
abundance of SPAM in the inbox, receiving product updates through an RSS feed
is a great alternative for keeping your customers informed.

I trust that some of the ideas above have given you inspiration for your website. Remember that with everything you do on your site, keep your customers top of mind. With that
strategy, you'll never fail.

Jot Down Your RC Car's Numbers

Think of the most important tool you need for your RC car both on and off track. If you answered the motor, tires or battery then you didnt get it right. Perhaps, the mentioned objects have their own designated purpose and task for a remote controlled car but for the hobbyist itself, a pen and paper are two of the greatest tools ever.

Really, the pen and paper are the useful when dealing with RC cars. There is no joke here since listing down the numbers of your RC car is the subject; nothing else can do it better. Have you ever thought of experimenting before? If you have, surely you have also thought of writing down everything you discover, right? This is actually the same point why securing a written record of your RC car and its performance is very important.

Regardless RC cars, trucks, planes and buggies are customized or not; they all have individual standard measurement. Along the way, you will need to change some parts of your RC car to make it run faster and perform better. It can be the tires, the distance from the main body, the height and others. Elements such as the batteries, caster, running temperatures and many others are also important in the performance of your RC car.

If you still cant see why writing down these things are extremely important in having RC cars as a hobby; try to imagine a time you test-drive your RC car down a rough path you are not familiar with (granting you havent written down the numbers of your RC car and performance for that particular time of the day), when a huge rock came rolling down the hill and missed your RC car by centimeters. Pretend the rear part has been altered from its original state. How do you solve this problem?

The point is, anything that can significantly affect your RC cars performance is important in improving it. So, for the scenario given above (although were not saying that it will likely happen), if you have put your entire RC cars numbers in to writing, it wouldnt be such a big problem. All you have to do is turn to your record, and replace everything damaged according to what you have taken note of.

Sell Off Whatever ATV Stuff You Don't Need - Advertise It!

If youve been ATVing for some time, you wouldve made quite a couple of changes to your ATV over time. I mean, every one of us ATV enthusiasts will get that itch once in a while. The itch to just meddle with our ATVs, make it better, end up making it worse, then fixing another ATV part on it, then see it work.then celebrate with a barrel of beer with friends! Hey, this is the world where machines rule the minds of men. And were pretty proud of it, actually.

Anyway, as you keep changing parts to your ATV, youll have quite a collection of used ATV parts in your garage and you may not know what to do with it. Maybe youre waiting for someone to lose a but and bolt here and there, then you can tell them Hey, you know what? I got just the thing you need. Let me dig out and dust it off for you. Its somewhere in my garage.somewhere.

Now, instead of waiting letting your ATV part rot, heres a better idea. Why not sell it off if its still in working condition. I mean, WHILE its still in working condition and is still worth the money. Heck, its sitting there doing nothing anyway. Why not make a buck or two out of all those used ATV items you have there? Makes sense?

The thing with selling ATV parts online through classifieds and websites is this you dont know how to do it, how to accept payment and make it work whenlets say, when the buyer is located across the country. Its actually pretty simple.

Picture it In order to make your ATV part more sellable through online classifieds, take a quick picture of the ATV part. Post it online. When the potential buyer can see a picture, he/she is more inclined to trust you and be able to gauge whether the ATV part is the one they are looking for.

Remain competitive Look, were talking about used ATV parts here, so, dont expect to make millions unless you have a huge garage filled with ATV parts. If you do, boy, you really should open up a used ATV part store. But lets just say, research the pricing a little bit and keep the pricing competitive.

Connect and Respond Theres nothing scarier for the buyer of your ATV part is when the seller does not respond on time or at all! When a potential customer contacts you for more information about the ATV part that youre selling, respond immediately. Or as soon as you can.

Description When selling ATV part, you should make every effort to make whatever description you write about the ATV part that youre selling online as clear and accurate as possible. Imagine the horror the buyer will feel when what arrives at their doorstep is something completely and utterly useless.

All in all, the Internet has made out lives easier and more convenient. So, dont let your used ATV parts sit at home and rot. Start posting advertisements online in ATV classified and make it useful!

Email Marketing Secrets - How to Get Your Subscribers to Open Your Emails and Take Immediate Action

In the first issue of these series on Email marketing techniques, we looked at the number 1 technique that you can use in creating magnetic headlines, bound to get your subscribers clicking through. In this second part, well be looking at an equally important part of the whole:

Ill teach how you to personally achieve those results. Getting your subscribers to click through and read your email is not just enough. Its good if they have a hint, which draws them in. But nothing, and I repeat nothing, sells faster and makes more impact than a How I Did It story. Have you ever done something and had people asking you how you did it? This does not mean that you have to cook up a story. If you have not achieved those results, then in my opinion, do not bother to teach it. It would simply portray you as someone who does not walk the talk. If you absolutely have to do it, get someone who has done it themselves. Interview him and either get it transcribed into a PDF format or let subscribers download the call in mp3 format or on their IPods.

This simple procedure instills in your subscribers the confidence that if you can do it, they can too. Nothing speaks better than personal results. It works like magic. Because people are always asking questions like, How did you make so many sales? How did you lose so much weight? How did you learn how to speak so well in public? How did you get to achieve so much in such a short period?

You see, thats why books and reports depicting How I did so and so sell like crazy. People want to tap from the direct knowledge source and experience. There is the assurance that the learning curve is faster and the mistakes can be avoided. If youve read Marlon Sanders book on how she grossed over $500,000 in a year, youll see a typical example of this concept put to work. The reason her e-book sold was because of the first-hand experience and knowledge she was promising to give out.

Everyone desires results. That is why titles like How I lost 20kg in 3 months, How I made $15,000 in 25 days, How I learned public speaking in 3 months etc. will always be bestsellers and attention-grabbers. Everyone wants to not only hear success stories, but to see how it can be applied to their lives.

At least you can see that I really practice what I teach because you are still here. The title I used is what drew you in and is still what is keeping you reading. Learn how to use the power of personal experiences. If you do not have any, go get an experience or invite someone who has an experience to share it with you. Then share it with your subscribers. I have seen this particular method work like crazy and draw in so many sales.

In the last and final part, youll find the last straw that will get you floods of sales and responses from your email marketing campaigns.

Remember todays lesson: Teach how you personally achieved results.

Baseball Throwing Part Six - Throwing Technique

How do you get your players to improve on their throwing technique?

Well, I believe that you leave the pitchers out of this. I am not referring to pitchers at all. Pitching is just glorified throwing. Throwing taken to the next level.

I also don't believe pitchers should shag. I know a lot of you use pitchers to shag and I have used them in the past.

When you put them in the outfield to shag, a magical transformation takes place and suddenly they become Willie Mays. You get guys knocking outfielders out of the way and making diving catches. They are throwing the ball in from 180 feet and suddenly arm problems occur.

I think pitchers need to be taken care of. I think they should all throw to the same position when warming up and doing throwing drills.

Infielders should throw with infielders, outfielders with outfielders, catchers with catchers, and pitchers with pitchers, and I think the coaches should walk along and observe the important throwing points like hand position, grip, location of the back foot, and see if they are closing the front shoulder, their striding foot.

If you don't have polished guys to start of with, I would suggest that while you are observing, you wear a helmet if you are walking behind. I think those guys should warm up but once they get good and loose, then they should start expanding the distance that they throw. Your infielders are going to work up to where they are throwing around 150 feet or so, the outfielders can get up to 180 or more, and you catchers should get around 130.

They should be working on the proper throwing technique and, of course, working for accuracy throwing through the circle.

In the game when they have to make that throw, and they don't do a good job, it may be our fault as coaches because we didn't create the right kind of throwing drills to enable them to work on these special throws that they are going to have to make in the game.

You are kidding yourself if you think when you go out and take infield that the outfielders are going to get the proper amount of work or throw to that cutoff man or throwing to those bases, when he makes one or two or three throws before every game. It has to be more detailed than that.

I think we need to create baseball throwing drills that are going to help and encourage these fundamentals.
